never something beautiful...
never even a friendly place...
but it was something special. there was still a sense of community, it was still a creative place.
but over the years 4chan grew and it became big and popular and then there came summer and then summer never went away again
we were younger then, you'd have never thought about being associated with the site, there was nothing to be associated with, really
before memes were a thing.
the day moot went away... it took me by surprise. I think this was the case for many of those who had been around for a long time. for some reason, though we somehow all knew it had gone off-kilter, I always thought would fix itself.
but then I realized. moot is gone. he may still be lurking somewhere, sometimes.. but the truth is, the spirit of 4chan is dead.
it may life again, some day.
but before it gets any better, it will have to get worse. it has to burn down. and then, maybe in some distant future it may rise again.
but until then we morn moot
