>>6149771Easiest way to explain, contrast is the highs and lows brought toward the middle (taking away the extremes so in a black and white it would take away the darkest blacks and the brightest whites) and saturation is kind of like vibrance (for color) so in low saturation it would kind of dull down the detail and make it stand out less.
This is off the top of my head so I'm sure someone will correct me. If you have photoshop or something like it, play around with those settings, you might have some fun.
