Death Star, but not because of the planet destroying laser. It had a complement of around 8,000 tie fighters and enough dry docks for several Star Destroyers. Not much a single ship could do against that. The Empire in lore negated the threat of small ship combat, - but the Enterprise is large enough to not be able to exploit the weaknesses of the Death Star.

Then, where most of it's weapons could actually be effective, the Death Star wastes the Enterprise.

Trouble is, Star Wars ships all use lasers and ion canons. Lasers don't really make a dent in Star Trek shields. Not to mention Tie fighters have no shields or deflectors, a few sweeps with the phaser banks would be enough to deal with most of them, and the ones that weren't destroyed wouldn't be much of a danger anyway. Same with the Star Destroyers, 2 - 3 strategically placed torpedoes max.

The only wild card is the Emperor, but if you're talking a battle of straight tech, Star Trek >>> Star Wars.

A couple times in TNG, we see ship's phasers being used to cut through a planet's crust. Even in TOS, the Enterprise was said to be able to devestate an entire planet's surface (though it's possible this could've been bluffing in a couple cases). Even in ENT, two small phase cannons pulverize a mountain "the size of Mt. McKinley," albeit with the help of a power surge.

tl;dr - In its best episode, a Trek ship could take on even the Death Star.

star wars ships do not use any lasers actually. the use blasters. even though they call the ship mounted ones turbolasers they use the same tech as a hand held blaster. its a bolt of highly energized plasma, not light energy, which is why they move so damn slow on screen.

also, only the original TIE had no shields, interceptors and defenders, both prevalent at DS2, did.

It's been fairly well established that the advantage that SW and ST have against 40k is mobility. The Imperium's biggest weakness compared to them is their relative slow and unreliable means of moving from battle to battle.

However.

Supposing the Imperium put the Federation in a position where it had to fight instead of doing Eldar-esque hit and run shenanigans, the Imperium would mop the floor with even the NG and later Enterprises. Is it because 40k tech is generally >9000 levels of bullshit power? Yup. But you asked, so there's the answer.

Also, I could imagine a Khorne Berzerker seeing a Klingon and his stop-motion grade fighting and just facepalming until it went through his ceramite plate. Honestly, I think the Klingon's would win just by insulting the CSM's knowledge of combat tactics to the point of suicide.
