>>6179227Have you played the others? In each iteration they dumb things down more and more, simplifying the game to make it appeal more to the masses. No need to repair armor, no athletics acrobatics or mysticism skills, unable to train unarmed, unable to craft your own spells, unable to customize your character at all beyond the way the look, etc. The list goes on. Plus, there was a lot more humor in the previous games, whereas now they're trying to keep it more serious. That's not to say Skyrim isn't a great game. I still play it today. But you shouldn't discredit people who actually know what they're talking about.
