There's also a lot of imagery that comes from classical antiquity, such as Greco-Roman sculpture and architecture.
A good starting point is probably doing some vaporwave collage art. OP's pic would fall under this category.
Just dig around the net for images you feel are vape. Put them together and experiment with the composition. Play around with different blend modes, and shifting around color channels (like chromatic aberration).
Databending is also a popular technique used. There's tons of tutorials and tools to find by simply searching for databending/glitch art.
