So, I'm getting back into magic the gathering, and wanted a playmat. The site I'm getting it from has a customization option, and I had a few pics in mind. /tg/ said my taste was shit because I needed something minimalist, and everything I have is.... well you can see.

What's minimalist AND appropriate for a playmat?

OP here. My second pic, a piece by Kris Kuksi. Looks nice, but as /tg/ said, busy as fak. I know there are a lot of wallpapers here that ARE minimalist, but what do you think as to what might be best to put stuff on?

Ok, here's what I mean. This is the sort of style that the site I'm getting the mat at has. It's one of the best, I think, but I know there has to be better out there.

The guy in black armor with lance to the right is the original Black Knight from the history. Maybe you dont know, but check him and his history out. Zawissius the Black. Zawisza Czarny originally. nobleman from medieval Poland. unbeated in every knight long sword fights and jousting. Killed as a prisoner by Ottomans because they were fighting for his head. And sultan came and beheaded him. His head was returned to capitol in silk bag and his black armor is still in Jasna Góra in main catholic place of Poland. tl;dr sry

Nothing to be sorry about. That fact this random painting I found JUST so happened to the man who was THE black knight just made my day. Apparently though there's a bunch of different ways to say his name. Here's a bigger version.

But yeah any minimalist wallpapers that could be used on a playmat for MTG is still appreciated.
