One thing I like in particular (apart from the general style and concept) is the patterned background on some of these. The Christmas-theme feeling from this one is hilarious:
>>6283123The one criticism I'd offer is that they are generally very bright. Too much white. When you try to use these as actual backgrounds, especially in room lit with sedate, ambient light for working on a computer all day, that amount of brilliant white really sears at the eyes.
But, yeah. These are great. You chose some really iconic and humorous moments for these; they're nearly all just spot-on. If any are missing, please fill in the gaps. If you make more, please post.
If you think you can be motivated for 2560x1440 or 2560x1600, that would be great, too. It's easy to re-size down to a smaller monitor, but enlarging leaves unsightly artifacts.
