The primitives are nice, but the outline around them doesn't quite work as well, that's really a problem with sketchup though. The primitives aren't equidistant and centered either, even though I can assume OP tried to make them so. I don't know if gimp supports making guides, but this is where having guides would help placement.
I like the fact that the primitives are RGB, dunno if that was intentional or not. The colors could use some tweaking, as they seem kind of dull for the scene, as does the entire scene.
For something that exclaims "Neon Dreams" the scene doesnt really scream as bright and electric as I would imagine from reading it.
