Walked into a Walden's Books (remember those?) in 1985. Bought "Neuromancer", in paperback.

The stuff in the book is still happening, or will happen in some form.
Except for being at the point of actually "jacking in", its like Gibson was a prophet. He was the first person I read that thought of people living in virtual worlds, instead of the real one (people do that now, except for the "jacking in" part.)
