Something I like to do is clean all of the icons off of my desktop and get a good solid eye-catching wallpaper. You can move your start menu around if you think that will help with the visual of the background. I think this is a good basic, interesting wallpaper for you
I'll post a couple of others

>unpin some of that stuff on the bottom
>use small icons for task bar
>set it to combine when task bar is full
>change start button

Windows 7 to 10 ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS compresses your wallpaper into a jpg, the current wallpaper you use is always put in a separate folder. That is why you should use good quality png instead of 100kb 1980x1080 jpg shit.
