Met my then girlfriend when she was an exchange student at my university 13 years ago, got together and after a few months she had to go back to her country to finisher her studies + other unrelated reasons and I had to stay here. For the next four years she'd come over and stay here with me for a little over a month during the Summer and I'd go there for a few weeks around Christmas because we were both poor as fuck. So out of a whole year we'd be together for maybe 60 days.
After we both figured out everything we had to figure out she moved here and we've now been married almost 9 years. We're happy, we're accomplished and we're wealthy. If you're not willing to let your fiancé sort her own life out before getting married by enduring a couple months of seeing each other on the weekends you're a selfish prick and you most likely do not deserve her.
