They go where they want, and function independently, away from other bears. Only mother bears bother with other bears, and they go hard when they do.
Despite being "lone wolves", they still have lots of personality and character. They don't gotta worry about keeping up with a herd or keeping a status because they're so independent, so they really get the opportunity to do whatever the fuck they want. Also, being the largest carnivore in North America certainly helps them do whatever the hell they want.
