Step 1: remove desktop icons
Step 2: remove any and all rainmeter skins that monitor system information because that's retarded and you don't need it
Step 3: Come up with an idea and make it yourself, scrub.

Don't do this, it's all music visualizers and those hex-shaped shortcuts over there.

Design it to your functional needs and then pretty it up.

Remember that it's just smoke and mirrors. Not integrated into the windows shell or root at all. Here is how I use rainmeter (for the small box on the bottom left) along with bblean.

rainmeter has surprising versatility and is usable for a variety of applications limited only by your own imagination.(and programming skill)

case in point this is some of the stuff i have made in rainmeter for various projects at university or random noodling for chuckles.

Don't do this. If you want a just werks distro get Debian or Fedora, I'm personally against Ubuntu but even that is a better option than Mint.
