Well, that's all /wg/ has tended to get from Vaporwave, at any rate. With an extra dose of ham-fisted nihilism and anime girls thrown in.

Synthwave is 80s neon Miami nights, nostalgia and optimism.

Vaporwave is chopped-up slowed-down glitched out 90s love songs, with a dash of 90s burst-bubble pessimism and corporate cubicle culture.

Not really the same thing at all.

thanks for these. by the way, is there a 'use actual size' option when setting desktop background on windows 10? because the options all seem to slightly distort/pixelate the wallpapers and i think it's because there isn't an option to use the original resolution of the wallpaper?

Using a png image usually stops that.

It's the same problem on windows 8.
You can just save the image as a png in paint, Windows gets caught up on the file type for some reason.
