>>6738495To be fair. His character wasn't meant to be this experienced explorer with full knowledge of all the main factions and groups. I love how his character went from an idealistic over friendly explorer with a very naive mindset to a hardened captain that understood violence is necessary sometimes when dealing with new civilisations and that not everyone you meet will be friendly to you.
>>6738671Season 3 and 4 were great. Shame it was cancelled at a point where it hit its stride. I liked their ideas for Season 5. Shitty studio move cutting the episode order of Season 4 just 2 episodes before the show would be syndicated(Need 100 episodes) worldwide.
TNG started like that. Beyond shit first 2 seasons where most of the episodes were low quality and worth skipping with a massive improvement at 3+(no coincidence thats when Roddenberry died...), particularly Mid season 3 and beyond were fantastic for the most part..
I was at the recent celebration in the UK and I felt really bad for Dominic Keating(Reed) and Connor Trineer(Trip). Barely anyone wanted signatures and pictures. Dom left early and Connor looked bored. They were really friendly and appreciative of support though. I just need Scott Bakula and Jolene Blalock pictures and signatures now :)
But Greg Grunberg who had a very, very minor role in Star Trek:Beyond had huge queues. I wasn't interested in him so avoided it. It boggles the mind.
