There is a allegory between Kylo and the near cult-ish following that Vader has among the fandom but that would also be fair to say that most fans love Vader as a fictional character, and keep it in that context. Kylo doesn't even see him as a flawed figure (well not much, anyway) or a human being. Vader is a god to him, and tired hard to live up to that image.
