>>6818347But my wallpaper does have an Asian character in it?
>>6818348I've had a read through the man page and the basics make sense; brew install, remove, search, info, etc, etc. But I don't really know about any packages that might be useful to me and I'm a little scared of installing something and having it fuck my everything up.
Do you know of any good resources for getting the basic rundown on things I should know to get the basic, no bs, understanding on a computer/OS?
>>6818349I think my problem is that I've never really got down and dirty with any Linux package manager. I've installed a *buntu distribution, thought to myself why have I switched if this achieves exactly the same thing, then never booted into the *buntu OS, and then eventually reformatted to 100% macOS
This was before I really understood what a package manager was mind you, so I thought the *buntu 'app store' was the be all end all; didn't know about apt-get
>>6818352Is it really that bad? Especially considering I was studying CS semester 1 last year (dropped out) and they made us program exclusively in Java.
Considering I'm studying Data Science now I think Python is one of the most commonly used languages to process big data sets in the industry so it seems logical that they teach us to that standard.
Probably should delete the shitty widgets but I don't really know how I would clean my top bar, not much there
