If human beings were to be able to create artificial sentience with "survival" tendencies and a need to adapt, we could in theory see that biological evolution in a human species. if I were to put all the data in and off my mind in a machine, and run the data from in my mind to the standards of the data about the mind's means of function, I could simulate a human brain; I could simulate myself. I could have an AI "clone" of myself.
Tell me why we won't ever see a mind simulated in a robot functioning with mock life parameters (copies itself to a new unit with a mix of code coming from another unit, learns behaviors from observation, goes on to run algorithms in attempt to better their kind along physical and software capabilities).
