If I drove drunk and killed someone by running them over and went to prison I'd still have access to my bank account when I got out and all my money would still be there.
But post online that I think the Holocaust was a myth in a European country and all my capital would be confiscated by the govt and my wife and children would be forbidden from ever seeing a penny of their inheritance.
