Is this the correct thread now? Why are there so many up?
It took over 2 days of compiling and editing files, but I finally cleaned my Gentoo system.
Removed more than 350 packages, minimized and fixed most of my use flags, and rebuilt all 900 packages on my system with the most recent version of GCC available. This was a mess caused from 2 years ago because I didn't understand how to use portage or keep my world file clean.

I only use it for Google maps, works much better with that than Firefox.
