2. "Discuss Japanese culture" is not synonymous with "post anime pics".
3. The pinned thread on /wg/ specifically states "anime goes in /w/".
4. /w/ is a better place for your anime pics to go anyway, it's full of people who enjoy and appreciate anime, not to mention it was specifically made as a place for anime wallpapers.
