>>6900469>>6900445During gameplay i observed fact that really drove me mad - in the earlier ME games they would put some time and energy into designing the systems and most important - the planets. The sizes, characteristics, atmospheres and tempeartures were mostly apt for the size and location of the planet within the system.
But in Andromeda it doesn't really seem to be the case. Orbits are warped, temperatures of the surfaces are exorbitant large regardless of location within system and atmosphere and even if there is really not much atmosphere the planets seem to have glow on the outskirts of them suggesting light refraction...
But the biggest issue I have is with Eladeen - the moon planet to weird tilted gas giant, supposedly tidally locked so there would be no nights on it. Yeah... no. Even if the moon itself was locked then it would not rotate, but the other side of it would be in constant shadows, and futhermore, even the lit side would experience darkness when the moon would go behind the parent planet. The cold would be unbearable. I won't even mention how tilted gas giant has no sense in the system setup. Looks cool on the sky, that's for shure.
Sorry for my rambling but I just felt the need to vent out as this kind of observation had me annoyed for most part of space exploration in the game and I do not find the explanation that "because the Scourge" because it is physical barrier made out of dark matter interfering somehow with how physics work on a system scale.
Done.
