Any topic is allowed, so long as it does not violate global rules. This includes wallpapers about a politician or other public figure, as well as politics and political ideologies more broadly.
However, this board is NOT for simply posting your political opinions. You can do that, provided you are actually posting wallpapers, but pure political discussion belongs on /pol/.

It could be better if maybe they made their own thread (a "Trump Hate" or "Fuck Trump" thread, maybe) as this thread is clearly intended as a pro-Trump thread, but that's more an issue of courtesy (I wouldn't go into a communism thread and post papes that while being about communism, are criticizing it. Instead, I'd start an anti-commie thread if that was my goal), and what they're doing now falls neatly within the actual purpose of the board even if it is sort of rude.
