>>7040109Australia was the 9th happiest nation on Earth in 2016 and 2017, US is 14th. Pretty close actually.
Three U.S. states individually have a higher total GDP economy than the entire nation of Australia, and two individual U.S. states have a higher population than Australia.
One U.S. state even has the same GDP as the entire UK, but with half its population.
Aussie economic growth rate is 2.5%, US is 1.6%.
Also the highest elevation of Australia is less than 2300m, the western US states all beat that by 2000m (my city is 1800m ASL and it's not the highest city in the western US) and have every life zone on Earth within them, except for Jungle, but the Southern US states have that, as well as our islands.
I own 3 guns and do not need a licence, nor do I need a CCW in my state even (I can carry a pistol concealed without any license), I did need to meet minimum regulation (background check, form 4473, no criminal history, over 18 for rifles and shotguns, over 21 for pistols etc.)
Politics in the US are a fucking shitstorm, you guys win there by far.
Less population density, you guys win there.
Less crime down under.
Australia has been rated the 2nd friendliest nation on Earth, after New Zealand, you guys totally win there, there are alot of assholes in the US.
You guys have Idubbbz (my fav Aussie cunt).
You guys don't match our industrial and technological capability overall, but then again only one other nation on Earth can, China.
Overall Australia is a better nation to live in, and one of the best in the world to live in overall. I'd rather live there if you had more mountains and some more cold high elevation climate zones.
By mountains I mean entire state-sized areas with an average elevation over 1000m and a few high mountains topping at least 3000m, 9 US states beat that, and 13 US states have a high point greater than 3400m.
