I can personally attest that Blade Runner 2049 was a cinema movie. The sound design was superb, and you'll never be able to reproduce it fully in a home theatre (unless you're Bill Gates).
Also, does anyone know when it'll be out on Bluray? I can't find anything on Google.

Have you seen "Loom" yet, OP? It's a twenty minute short film set in the Blade Runner universe, which Ridley Scott and his son Luke released in 2012. It doesn't have any of the same characters, but the vibe is 100% cool. Totally worth checking out if you haven't seen it yet.
