Buy yeah, they seem to depict nazi's as immoral overly practical and power-obsessed. and they didn't seem to treat the Japanese any better.
On the other hand, it's well-shot, well-acted, props and uniforms look good ect.
So you could give it a shot, you can always drop it if you don't like it.
If you haven't seen it yet, I can highly recommend "generation war" if you understand German or don't mind subtitles.
