use the folders that already exist on your phone.
The more "clutter free" your phone is, the harder it is to find things you use often.

I just put all the apps I use into loosely organized folders and stuck the folders down on the favorites tray. With more apps this would obviously be harder.

mine is pretty cluttered but zedge has hella icon sets and i use "april fools" which makes icons kinda transparent. looks nice and uniform and i can still see my wallpapers. still have an obvious phone for emergencies however.

Remove the icon lables. Especially if you also have a wallpaper with text you neanderthal. And get an icon set
