Don't worry my dude. I had exactly the same problem. Eventually I started giving less fucks about dumb shit in my life and started being more self-confident, and that in combination with just pretending te feel happy for a while just made me forget my depression and move on with life e.g. my work. Although sometimes I'll see my two housemates sitting in the living room with their girlfriends having a great time and I just get hit with a wave of depression through my body that hits me hard. But hey, I always think: whats the point of being alive on this beautiful Earth if you cant feel emotions every now and then! Feeling sad every now and then is just as important as feeling happy every now and then I think.
