This is currently my homescreen and I don't know what to do with it.
I don't need a clock, already got one up there.
I don't need weather or date, both are a click away.
I don't need search, I just long press the home button
As for music, I've got the app so that I can choose what I do. If I'm in a hurry, I only need this little button in the center and that's it.

Please gibe suggestions I really want to do something but have no idea what.

Here's my updated setup, took me like 2 days to do with the help of the people here.
I use > Nova with images for the icons but the icon back is 1-BIT KWGT for the widgets. Just play around my man , keep messing around and see what you can do on your own.

I also use a Moto E2 LTE (surnia). Nova launcher, I use my home button to open the drawer from the home screen.
Have you considered using a rom? I'll be upgrading to 8 soon using SlimRoms.
