Yet, its just so bloody polluted.
And yet, people still bathe in it.
When we went to Benares, i point blank refused to step into the gray murky water.
There were fucking hair and coconut fibres everywhere.
And the stench... the sweet cloying scent of decaying organic matter, sweets and coconut oil...
This is why i am an athiest.
I will never willingly step foot into another temple or a holy place, they are dirty as fuck (except prolly vaishno devi, they keep that place clean, by comparision.)
