>>7119951It looks to me like someone took a photo of some street, then did a crisp line drawing of the photo with a lightbox, then inked with some micron pens, then scanned the inked drawing, then likely retraced the tracing via some photo app and added lots of gradients and other effects like grass and select changes in hue, saturation and lightness, then run the whole thing through some photoshop filter to 'pixelate' the crisp drawing. I'm pretty sure actual late 80's stuff like this was just drawn in pixel by pixel by a team of paid artists who spent hours rendering them from photographs using grid transfers..but these are all just guesses. There's probably an app that can just do this with one click these days.
