>>7158430Problems:
Search element on the top has a border while nothing else does, the search text is left aligned while every other minor element has parent relative centering (centered in the bounding box of the element). Capitalization and spacing vary randomly across different elements, the links under the picture and "system info" indicators are unevenly aligned and use differing font sizes. They're also vaguely distributed evenly, but not actually, the spacing is all fucked up. Recycling bin in the bottom corner is flush with the bottom but has a right margin for some reason. System info indicators just look messy and are not actually very useful, you could try some stuff to make them look better but it's better to just not bother. They detract too much from how you've built everything around the center anyhow.
Some ideas:
Search element should be one character tall, span the top of the image and have no border. Should only say "Search...". Focusing it should bring up a bounding box (don't use those ugly round corners when you have a square cornered centerpiece).
Get rid of all the system info indicators.
Move the recycling bin indicator so it has 10px of space on the bottom and right. Or thereabouts.
Change the text links to use the same font as the date/time indicator, use all caps, form the links into a block with a consistent X pixels of space between them and then align the whole block to be centered and ~8px (same distance as the date/time is from the left of the image) from the bottom of the image.
