Summers are hot and winters are cold but it's a great place to live. The people might come off as rude here at first but we just have a somewhat abrasive attitude in general. If we aren't friends, I'm not going to put on a facade and lead you on. It'll just be all business. Also make sure you leave tips. I know many European countries frown upon tipping, and meals cost a bit more to make up for the lack of it. But here the servers at restaurants depend heavily on tips to make up for low wages. A 15-20% tip is good most of the time, and feel free to leave no tip at all or a handful of pennies as a "fuck you" for piss poor service. I've known Europeans who get confused by this. You really only tip at sit-down places, or maybe at a car wash. Ask people if you aren't sure, most of them will be honest with you about it.

In all seriousness, Walmart is cheap if you're on a budget, but it's mostly lardasses and other freaks who shop there. Go to a Target or Kroger instead.

You won't have and issue driving through these areas during the day as long as you don't stop, but don't go at night. Cops can take a long time to show up.
