Current punk would be something like a dude who makes soundcloud music for money, people go to his shows. Or DIY chick who makes money on Etsy. Punk should be more politically neutral IMO, should be awakened to the problems going on in central america or what have you and want to organize freedom for the middle class but not using any political party to do it, its a grassroots movement of artists and junkies who want to live free.
It should be apart from police hate, it recognizes the importance of police to create freedom but does not support the overreach they do often. So punk = against DIRTY cops not ALL cops.
That's my impression of punk from just some gay anon, I don't think its outright anarchy anymore, that was some Sex Pistols shit.
