The party system really makes me want to go back to MMOs, which I've scarely played in the past. I've been playing a lot of ARPGs recently(Souls series, Nioh, Kingdoms of Amalur) and Souls and Nioh have multiplayer, and Amalur has several quests in which you are temporarily accompanied by NPCs, none of them are exactly companion-based as Origins, and that's obviously not multiplayer.
I have accounts on Guild Wars 2, Blade and Soul, WoW, Warframe, STO, and Defiance, but aside from Warframe, I have less than ten hours in them. I'd prefer the first few for now, since they're fantasy based, but none of my friends play MMOs and it feels like the glory days of the genre have passed. Just really wish I could've been more of a part of it.
Sorry to blogpost, OP. Just really been in a fantasy mood recently. Would love to hear anon's stories of adventures throughout RPGs if willing.
