By issue 604 he stands and fights celestials.
Remembering back a few years, he is so powerful he once made a copy of Earth, placed it on a counter orbit around the sun to our Earth and transported all the heroes there. It was the only way he could save them. See the Heroes reborn story lines, it was a major crossover event.
Eventually they remembered who they were and traveled back to our Earth. Leaving the counter Earth to go to shit, but that's another story.
Franklin has always been the most powerful Marvel character. The only thing that's hindered him is that the writers kept him young and later had Reed limit his power. It wasn't until he grows up that he really comes into his power.
