kinda funny I was in the exact same situation about two years ago and while we ended up getting together I regret it with the hindsight of her breaking up with me like four different times and me forgiving her every time. It hurts a lot more when it's a friend. at this point I'd rather have the friendship back.

at this point, im just cutting them out of my life. No replies to their texts or snaps, no talking to them even if we’re in the same friend group, nothing on social media... it fucking hurts and I miss talking so much, but i know if i do, im only going to fall deeper

I'm a year deep on this path. I had said I love you before but this was the first time I had meant it. The first girl I longed to start a family with and grow old without conveniently dying before retirement. 8 months after I started dating someone and trying to convince myself she wasn't a rebound but she was and still is. I can't even fuck this girl without thinking of my ex and I literally mean that. I cannot bring myself to do the god damn act without picturing my ex because she is the only one I ever wanted to sleep with from the moment I met her.
I hear she's doing well and that's the only thing that makes anything okay
