While I take issue with giving the sovereignty of your home soil to an outside ruler, it is their right to choose whether to do so. Not everyone in North Ireland wanted to be part of the UK, but they did not want to give up their homelands either. The beauty of the Shengin agreement was that they could live in North Ireland and travel unrestricted to Ireland proper without issue, but with Brexit the border will again become an enforced territory.
The IRA are not the heroes you think they are. In fact, they are full blown marxists. There's a reason the legitimate nation of Ireland does not want anything to do with them and I guarantee you wouldn't want to live in the Ireland they seek to create.
The IRA may have a cool aesthetic, but there's more to them than a Western European guerrilla warfare group that bangs redheads, talk with a cool accent and drink beer to celebrate their operations.
As much as I would like to see the island returned to single country rule, The IRA & PIRA are definitely not the people I want to see accomplish it.
