>>7347844Absolutely. Quality gameplay and writing are all very well, but looking cool and unique is far more important for marketing purposes.
(I'm not sure how great the level design really was, it was an awkward halfway point between metroidvania and linear levels, but the visuals and art design never stopped being impressive)
