This just happened today
be me
> 23 barista
managers have been picking on me and giving me shit all week
> constantly getting condescendingly blamed for stuff I didn’t do
> ask for help with something
> her immediate response is to assume I fucked up and lecture me
> turns out it wasn’t actually my fault > still get blamed somehow
> get fed up
> later decide to ask her to talk with me after my shift
> start thinking of all these points to bring up in a mature, well spoken, and professional manor about how I think she’s been treating me unfair and I’d like her to treat me nicer
> we go outside
> something happens
> fuckicantdothis.jpg
> anxiety wins
> I immediately starting bawling
> not just sniffling like full ugly crying
> tell her “sometimes she’s mean to me and it’s really humiliating”
> snot running down nose
> apologizing the whole time
> her 10 minute break ends and she goes back inside after awkwardly trying to calm me down and not exactly resolving anything
> sit outside for 20 mins trying to calm down while my coworkers can visibly see me sobbing outside by myself
> go home and cry more
Then realize I forgot my backpack at work. Debating whether or not to go get it tonight or just pretend it’s not mine and leave it there.
