>>7409230People are just making bullshit excuse to find "valid" reasons to be against the things they don't like for personal reasons. It all comes to "I don't like it so it shouldn't be here". Pic related examples that
>/wg/ is a SFW board! There are explicit porn ads in this very same board, which basically shouts this isn't true. I myself love these kind of wallpapers, but I'm not really much of a porn guy and I would much rather not have some shitty porn ads whenever I'm browsing for wallpapers. But to me, the fact this board ALWAYS have explicit porn ads, takes any credibility out of the argument of this being a "SFW board". Plus, you know, the fact it is pink and "
4chan.org" and not blue "
4channel.org"
>taking too much board space! There are countless themes doing that. There is always 5+ birthday threads each given time, which to me is stupid since they are all the same thing (basically, a generic pape thread). Pic related shows there is literally two 26 bday threads right now, which shows that this kind of people don't even bother to check for other threads. Each one wants they own thread to feel a special snowflake. Our threads on the other hand, we usually only create a new one once an old one dies/reach img limit. That is literally the opposite of toxic behavior - we patiently try to keep it to the same thread, the only issue is the board's limitations
To me, birthday threads are way more cancerous than any particular subject thread. IMO, THEY should be banned. But I don't go around shitting over their threads just because I don't like them
In the end, people are just jerks trying to come up with reasons to bash us. In the meantime, I do enjoy every single thread we create on this topic, and I again must thank you for all the awesome threads you created at that time. My life was happier when I knew I had good quality papes to check for every night
