if you enable the must-have features like badges, gestures and icon packs it eats from ~200MB and up to 500-700MB.
Half of which is wasted on tracking and firebase services.
Also every third party launcher on every phone has delay on input, be it opening apps or simply scrolling, compared to stock, due to thirty launchers not interacting with the framework (touchwiz, emui, miui, pixel framework, etc) that has direct access to lower level kernel stuff.
