>>7418414From Dusk til Dawn (first choice because this movie has everything, crime, cheese, blood, Salma Hayak)
Shaun of the Dead (british fast-paced dark comedy)
The Departed (gritty boston crime, ignore the cringey fake accents)
Dont be a Menace (ghetto...not really, suburb life racist ass comedy)
Mad Max: Road Warrior (Great characters and stupid dialogue make this an awesome experience)
Fargo (One of the Coen Brothers films on this list. frosty black comedy. if youre looking for warmer climate movie check out O Brother, where art thou.)
Outlaw Josey Wales ('76, if you wanna understand some classic lines that are constantly referenced in pop culture, watch this movie. some advice: skip the romance scene at the 3/4 or so point of the movie. it was clints real life wife and its just lame)
Big Lebowski (another Coen brothers film, great soundtrack like all of them. enough great content to keep you going if you are witty enough)
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Great for a sci-fi movie that has closure, silly and over the top, interesting cameos)
The Castaway (tom hanks is a great actor even if he is just a fat white dude. it was this, Forrest Gump, or catch me if you can)
Honorable mentions list of 10 -
The Royal Tenenbaums (great cast and soundtrack, kinda corny)
The Boondock Saints (as a Boston native I gotta rep this shit. sociopathic genius race war killing spree, willem dafoe steals the show)
Dogma (obnoxious...but it is still a classic in my book. classic Kevin Smith with a religious plot. cameos such as George Carlin. also Salma)
Eastern Promises (Aragorn goes off the books as Russian mafia)
Being John Malkovich (Mindfuck film, dark comedy sort of)
Trainspotting (Drugs, dark comedy)
The Prestige (Mindfuck drama magicians)
Willard (Just fucking watch it)
War of the Worlds (best alien thriller that came out in America at the time, still garbage but the best we got)
American History X (Nazis gettin splattered, angst, etc. great movie)
