They may have experienced the individual scenes depicted but their lives were far from ideal.
I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, I just kinda despise the current zoomer culture where we act like this is the only generation that has suffered and it's over mostly menial shit that every generation has dealt with.
I worry about being able to afford a better house these days, my father worried about nuclear war, my grandfather worked 80 hours weeks during the depression just so he could eat. I think the main thing people feel screwed over on these days are social and familial bonds
Dont fall for the zoomer meme of wallowing in your own sadness over your perception of what could've been and forgoing any personal responsibility. You should spend your life working towards making the future your own ideal and being happy.
