On the one hand their political elite want the nation to be a shining example of the best communism can do by being an economic global powerhouse making lots of money for the elite at the top of the tree like all good capitalists everywhere; but at the same time their nations entire population is essentially reduced to several layers of serfdom with little or no right to complain due to the constant risk of being taken away for political re-education at a moments notice for the least little expression of critical thinking.
This is why the people of Hong Kong have been, and are still, currently fighting against the law changes proposed by their traitorous politicians, which would have almost immediately taken away all the protections Britain helped put in place for the citizens of Hong Kong as part of the hand over of the region to mainland China.
Meanwhile, here we are in Europe, the U.S., and all other western-ised nations, and we're faced with the creeping rise of exactly the same kind of extreme socialism we see in China, with all the usual tired old well-worn communist deceits and deflections being employed to distract unknowing/poorly educated/carefully brainwashed populations from the reality of the leftist situation; and that's why it has to be stopped, before it ruins the world.
