>>7493278>>7493282black papes optimized for OLED panels must be totally black so those black pixels do not light up and consume power. sorry i can't explain it more elegantly, but not all black papes are tuned for this and will still light up the black pixels on these panels. they won't give those pitch dark blacks which can only be achieved by having those pixels shut off.
