Not much other than using rainmeters that pair with AHK scripts, also to learn a bit of code for a more personalized experience on that front.
Some base stuff that make for a good start on Windows 10 in my opinion are

Although its best to start off with an idea and plan for what your ideal desktop does, like I have various UI buttons in my rainmeter taskbar to help me with things like switching tablet drivers and telling me what I am currently set to; aesthetics are important but having a desktop and theme that works with you is the priority.
