>>7510737They keep green lighting frozen shit, which is fine and all, but the messages in Tron are more and more important for Gen Z. It doesn't write off video games and technology obviously, but it encourages a change of mentality to the world around us. It's hitting at the concept of living dangerously for the good. While gen z's been taught to stay locked up and pathetic for a long time now. They rebel against it with memes and humor, but that's just scratching the surface of what rebellion they're capable of, if this message is taken to heart. Shit will hit the fan for all attempting to control the status quo. Disney used to make art, now they print money from those wasting money assuming the images flashed in front of them are of sufficient quality to allow children to consume instead of begging the question "is this worth my time watching?" I think often nowadays the answer is no, we don't take children exploring anymore. Teaching them what the world is made of and how to process it properly for a life worth living.
