Humpback whales have been studied extensively, as has their "language". In 1987 scientists partially translated a good deal of their language. For the entirety of that year, all humpbacks the world over were repeating over and over the phrase "Look to the skies." What it means was never fully understood and everyone involved with the project died within 2 days. No further research was done on the matter.
