>>7570794Second one is Century III Mall back in PA. Really surreal seeing it like that. I remember going shopping there for gifts and all sorts of stuff with my parents as a little kid.
Since my dad was in the army and we moved all over, coming back every so often, I'd come back to the mall at different points in my life. Really weird watching it die more and more every time I came back. Stopped by last year visiting family after my mom died and it's like the mall died at the same time. I mean they weren't connected in any way, but whenever we lived in PA was when my dad would be stationed overseas (Korea and Panama), so every time we went to the mall it was with her. So all my memories of the place are also tied up with fond memories hanging out with my mom. Well that and my last year of HS was in PA, so a lot of "coming of age" type memories associated with it too.
I mean it's just a building, but I am sad to see it go. Honestly was a super cool mall and a really neat layout.
